Which returns services do you offer?

The returns options we currently offer:

If you would like to change your return option after registering your ThriftBag return, get in touch with us at hello@thrift.plus and we'll assist with amending your return option.

Collect+ local drop-off

This option is free and 'paperless' - i.e. you do not need a printer!

How it works:

  1. Click your returns link and enter your ThriftBag number
  2. Select the Collect+ service
  3. You will receive a barcode via email

    Please note you will need to repeat steps 1-3 for each ThriftBag
  4. Take your ThriftBag to the drop-off point
  5. Show the barcode in your emails to the shop assistant
  6. The shop assistant will print the shipping label onto a small receipt from their Collect+ Paypoint terminal and attach this to your bag
  7. They will also tear off the bottom of the receipt and hand this to you. Please keep this - it is your important tracking information

InPost Returns Service 

InPost is a 24/7 parcel locker that allows you to return your ThriftBag at any time, without the need for a printer. 

To find your nearest locker, visit the InPost site: https://www.inpost.co.uk/users/find-a-locker/

How it works:

  1. Scan your QR code and follow the link 
  2. Select InPost as your returns method
  3. Submit your details on the returns portal and generate a personal QR code, and download it or send it to your email. 
  4. Go to your nearest locker, scan your code, and put the parcel into the locker. A digital receipt is available. 

Visit  https://www.inpost.co.uk/users/track-my-parcel/ to track your parcel after dropping it off. Input your tracking number to find out where your parcel is. 

PLEASE NOTE: all items from the same order should be returned in one parcel. 

Maximum parcel size: 41cm x 38cm x 64cm.

If you have any issues at a parcel machine, you can contact InPost directly on 0330 335 0950 (Monday to Friday 8am – 9pm, Saturday, Sunday & Bank holidays 8am – 8pm)

DHL home collection

This option requires a printer.

The service costs £4.50 per bag for for all Thrift+ donations. This service is free for Farfetch donations.


  • Available Monday - Friday.
  • Not available on weekends.
  • Collection slots are 930am-5pm.
  • You are not able to choose a specific time slot, so someone will need to be at home all day (not ideal - we appreciate! We are working on improving our offering here).

How it works

  1. Click your returns link and enter your ThriftBag number
  2. Select the DHL collection service
  3. Confirm your collection address
  4. Select your collection date
  5. Enter your payment details (if required)

    Please note you will need to repeat steps 1-5 for each ThriftBag
  6. You will receive the shipping label via email
  7. Print the label and attach securely to your bag
  8. Hand the bag to your DHL courier

  • If you are an Oxwash laundry customer, you can now hand your ThriftBag to your Oxwash rider next time they collect or drop off your laundry
  • Available in Oxford, Cambridge, and London

Please note: you do not need to go through the returns process to use this option, simply hand your bag to your Oxwash rider when they're next around.
