Good question! If you’ve used our Brand Checker, you might have spotted some brands we don’t accept for resale from individual sellers, but then seen those same names pop up for sale on the site.
Here’s the why:
Some of our stock comes from our trusted retail partners, not individual sellers.
These items are brand-new and unworn surplus stock sent directly from the supplier. Because of their excellent condition and how they’re sourced, we’re able to list them, even if they’re from brands we wouldn’t normally accept through our usual resale service.
This only applies to stock from our retail partners. If you’re selling with us as an individual, the Brand Checker is still your best guide.
We also occasionally receive customer returns from our trusted retail partners. These might include items that have minor defects or signs of handling, but haven’t been worn or used in the same way as second-hand items. Because they come directly from the retailer, we know exactly where they’ve come from and what condition they’re in, and we can list them with any issues clearly described.
For private sellers, we’re not able to offer the same level of traceability or quality control on pre-worn items, which is why we’re a bit stricter on what we can accept.
Please stick to this brand list for resale items - anything not on it will be automatically recirculated.
